Last Night on Last Night with Jimmy Fallon: Jimmy, Justin Timberlake & the Roots took a musical trip through Hip-Hip History! How was it? Watch the video to find out.
I could name about half to 3/4th of the songs they used. This also marks the 2nd time i've posted a video where the song "Empire State of Mind" by Jay-Z was used. :) Also, things like this is why I think Late Night is really cool. He & the show has done some really cool stuff so when I stay up late at night I'm going to see something cool and/or funny. Speaking of songs: There is a song by Jimmy, Amy Poehler & Rashida Jones that pretty cool, too. I think would also be on the Late Night section of NBC.com.
So, until next time: Stay Jazzy, everybody!

This is Entry 167: Jet City 2010 Part 2
PICTURES!
Sign out on the sidewalk in front of the Show. (I also have picture of a sign on the building but this one came out better).
The Line before the Show which was in the same building as the Northwest Ballet. So, I saw lots of girls going to ballet practice & lots of guys going to buy comics. :)
The Line continues down a short flight of stairs.
Left side of the Hall.
Center part of the Hall.
Right side of the Hall.
Cheryl (as X-23), Elisa (as Silk Spectre II) & Abraham (as The Man in the Red Shirt)
Also, after taking this photo it was noted that Cheryl didn't mean to be giving me "The Finger", it just happened. :)
Abraham (as The Man in the Red Shirt) talking to AJ (as The Girl with the Wonder Woman tattoo).
Wonder Woman tattoo not shown. But It does look like AJ is about to use her laser vision on Abraham which she totally has. :)
Tusken Raider Head.
My Comic Book Haul.
About half to Three Fourths of this stuff was from the Fifty Cent boxes.
I also tried to take a picture of this guy with a this Turtle Shell backpack but the picture is too dark to see anything. If I can fix the photo, I'll post it.
But until next time: Stay Jazzy everybody!

This is Entry 166: Jet City 2010
So, I went to the Jet City Comic Show today. :)
The location was a bit small but it was the Show's first year. But It was bigger then some of the other small conventions I've been, too. Saw a number of the same vendors I've seen at other local shows.
Before the show, I was talking with a few different friends about them coming to the show & most of the people I talked to came which was cool. 2 of them even dressed up in costumes. :)
I've got some pictures I'll post soon. Didn't shot much video, I might use it in an idea I have (might not). I got a bunch of comics, it was a nice haul but more on that later on. :)
Would I got to Jet City Comic Show 2011: sure. There is always Comics to buy. :)
Until next time: Stay Jazzy!

This is Entry 164: Seattle!
A local radio station were so often plays this song which I guess makes since because we are... in Seattle!
---------------
Lyrics:
The bluest skies you've ever seen are in Seattle
And the hills the greenest green, in Seattle
Like a beautiful child, growing up, free an' wild
Full of hopes an' full of fears, full of laughter, full of tears
Full of dreams to last the years, in Seattle
. . . in Seattle!
When it's time to leave your home and your loved ones
It's the hardest thing a boy can ever do
An' you pray that you will find
someone warm an' sweet an' kind
But you're not sure what's waiting there for you!
The bluest skies you've ever seen are in Seattle
And the hills the greenest green, in Seattle
Like a beautiful child, growing up, free an' wild
Full of hopes an' full of fears, full of laughter, full of tears
Full of dreams to last the years, in Seattle
. . . in Seattle!
When you find your own true love, you will know it
By her smile, by the look in her eye
Scent of pine trees in the air, never knew a day so fair
It makes you feel so proud that you could cry!
The bluest skies you've ever seen are in Seattle
And the hills the greenest green, in Seattle
Like a beautiful child, growing up, free an' wild
Full of hopes an' full of fears, full of laughter, full of tears
Full of dreams to last the years, in Seattle
. . . in Seattle!
In Seattle . . . in Seattle . . . in Seattle!

This is Entry 163: Emerald City 2010 part 2
So, I prep for the Jet City Comic Show, I was thinking back about 6 months to Emerald City ComicCon 2010. I also thought that I never posted any of the photos from the event here (some are up elsewhere on the Interwebs). A note about the photos, some are a bit blurry.
It's Black Cat just hanging out with a friend out in front of the Convention.
Michelangelo, The Scarecrow & The Cobra Commander all wonder through the Convention.
It's Doctor Strange! He's probably explaining what the Hoary Hosts of Hoggoth are or maybe what it's like to fight Dormammu. But then he might be talking about something else completely (could be about the wallet he's holding). :)
Doctor Doom stops to pose with some children.
At the Green Lantern panel, Guy Gardner ask writer Geoff Johns a question. Seated next to him is Artist Doug Menke. (Plus, who know Mario & Luigi were Green Lantern fans?)
Also, at the Green Lantern panel: Writer Mark Waid.
A Huttlet is being carried around the Convention & seem to be having a fun time.
At the Mondo Marvel Panel, from the left: Writer Paul Tobin, Writer Jeff Parker, *Don't Know*, *Don't Know*, Writer Joe Kelly (I think), Chief Creative Officer of Marvel Entertainment Joe Quesada, *Can't really tell*, Writer Ed Brubaker, Writer Brian Michael Bendis & Writer Matt Fraction.
You meet all sorts of people at the Conventions. Here I am with a Jawa.
Here is a Stromtrooper posing with Robin.
3 Sci-Fi franchises all collide in one photo!
In little under a week I should have photos from Jet City.
Until next posting, I want you all to as always: Stay Jazzy!

This is Entry 162: Stats!
Today I found out a new feature Blogger has: It can now give me stats!
As of when I writing this, my Blog have received 1,563 page views (and here I thought no one was looking). My most popular entry to view is Entry 23 with 124 page views. Now the content really anything out of the ordinary, I'm review some comics I read. I think why all the page view is there is an image of the current Captain America as part of that entry.
Speaking of page views in June of this year I have 0 page views & in July I had 775 page views. Huh? I don't know why. But in August I had 509 & so far this month I had 282. Now Blogger doesn't show me anything from before May of this year on their graph (May also had 0 page views). So, apparently in the last few months I've become somewhat popular on the Internet. :)
So, who is looking at my Blog? Well, according to the data a typical LFW reader is from the U.S. & using the Internet Explorer browser on their Windows computer.
Some other Info:
I've been viewed in Canada 87 times, The Netherlands 84 times, the UK 76 times, Brazil 63 times, France 37 times, Mexico 33, South Korea 30 times, Russia 23 times & China 20 times. In the US I've been viewed 869 times.
I've been viewed on these Browsers: Internet Explorer (47%), Firefox (23%), Safari (18%), Chrome (5%), Opera (3%) & with <1% are Java, Jakarta Commons-HttpClient, lolifox & via translate.google.com The Operating Systems these people are using are: Windows (77%), Macintosh (19%), Unix (2%) & with <1% are an iPod, a Nintendo Wii, a Nintendo DSi, an iPhone, Linux & a PlayStation Portable. Most people have found my Blog via a Google Search & my highest search term is "Cat Grant" with most likely takes you to Entry 42 where I posted a page from Action Comics #866 where you see Miss Grant presented in all her bustiness.
I should thank Jay Boaz of It's What I know for his Blog is my all time highest referring URL. 13 people from his Blog have come over & looked at something here.
Just some info I thought was interesting. So, until next time: Stay Jazzy Everybody!

This is Entry 161: Con Prologue
Before I get into what this post is about, as I logged into Blogger to I noticed that I have gained a 4th follower. So, a hardy Living for Wednesday welcome to Calandreya who according to her vague profile is a female from "the Midwest". She joins RÁDIO WEB BLOG (a blog from Brazil), scientist from India (who I think was my first follower) & my friend Abraham.
So enough of that tangent. What is this post actually about? Well, like many of the entries here: Comic Books. In about a week or so there is a Convention happening:
This is the first year it's happening. This convention is sort a sister/brother/cousin/some sort of family member of the Emerald City ComicCon since a few people from that Con also are putting this one on. From Jet City's own website, this Con's purpose is:
I'm not sure I like the term "quality" as attributed to one-day comic shows since I've been to a number of one day shows that I think are of "quality". I think they are going to something larger to then those shows. Most of the one day shows I've been to don't have panels, special guests & are most often held in smaller meeting places (Most of the ones I've recently been to have been in an Elementary School Gym).
I've known this Con was a coming for time & was wavering on if I'd attend or not. In thinking about it I came upon an idea. Something I had never done before! I'm going to go with a group. I've contacted a small group of my Seattle friends on the Facebook & most are up for going to the Con. Some are even going to come in Costume!
So, think of this post as a Prologue to my review of this upcoming Convention. There will most likely be photos taken at said event. There might even be some video take. I attempted to do some filming at ECCC 2010 but pretty much forgot about the camera during the day. I had like 2 minute max of footage, I was there for a few hours. :) So, I hope to maybe redeem myself this time. But I might do the same thing & forget about the camera because I'm just geeking out.
Speaking of Cons: In Entry 74, I give my Guide to attending to Conventions. I'll most like make some changes to it since I've have some experience with attending a Convention with a group.
So, until next: Stay Jazzy everyone!

This is Entry 160: Coming Attractions!
So, what I originally had planned for this post was to give a fall TV preview of what I'll be watching, which new shows I'll be checking out, etc. I had gathered together some info regarding the fall season & then when I thought II'd make the post today since the upcoming week is when the fall season starts. I thought "screw it!" Their really isn't anything that I'm truly looking forward to seeing & there aren't a lot of the old returning shows that I really want to talk about . So, consider this my Anti-Fall TV preview post! :)
I will give you a preview of stuff that is forth coming for this here Blog:
- More Random Photos & Really Cool Old Ads are forth coming.
- I'm going to a convention at the end of September so there will be at least one post about that. Maybe even a video. Probably a photo or two. Also, I'm going with a group friends so that's a friend for me.
- something I talked about doing last year & still haven't done: The Hot List, basically my version of the Maxim HOT 100. I don't have a 100 woman, I've got about 70 or so. I started the list because I didn't like the list Maxim was putting out. They were ignoring a lot of hot women. So, I've slowly built up the list & changed it a few times. I know Maxim ranks them by number, I don;t think I'll do that. Right now I have alphabetized & that is most likely how I'll post them. Look for this list to happen sometime.
There a few other things I've got ideas for that may or may not make their way to being posts. Look for those that do sometime later. :)
Until the next posting, Stay Jazzy, everybody.
