This is Entry 168: Hip Hop History with Jimmy & Justin!
Last Night on Last Night with Jimmy Fallon: Jimmy, Justin Timberlake & the Roots took a musical trip through Hip-Hip History! How was it? Watch the video to find out.
I could name about half to 3/4th of the songs they used. This also marks the 2nd time i've posted a video where the song "Empire State of Mind" by Jay-Z was used. :) Also, things like this is why I think Late Night is really cool. He & the show has done some really cool stuff so when I stay up late at night I'm going to see something cool and/or funny. Speaking of songs: There is a song by Jimmy, Amy Poehler & Rashida Jones that pretty cool, too. I think would also be on the Late Night section of NBC.com.

Today, 3 years ago I started this Blog! Woot to that!
It is also the 219th day of the year (or 220th in leap years) in the Gregorian calendar. There are 146 days remaining until the end of the year. It's also considered to be halfway through its summer (Or halfway through the winter if you live south of the equator). Also, Last year at this time I had made 101 posts which means at my current rate of posts I should have over 200 posts by next year's birthday. :)

This is Entry 145: Disappointment
As made mention here & at least one other place I made mention that I would be making an announcement tomorrow, the 16th. It won't be happening. I being lazy my timeline for have having it done by tomorrow got away from me. To be general it was video, what the video was to be about is will be told another time. I did try to film the the darn thing yesterday & started to over think it, both it's content & how I look/acted in it. This got worse as time went on. After a spending as few hours on it I gave up. I will return to it & complete it so I may announce what I wanted to announce to you all.
So, for any of you that were actually looking forward to it: sorry to disappoint you. I could have posted something that I wasn't happy with to just have it out there but I don't want to do that & won't be. :)

This Is Entry 133: Update!
So.....
What's coming up here on this here Blog?
Well, Videos. If I get off my butt & start a doing stuff. There should be at least 2 (maybe 3) new videos in the next 2 weeks. I won't say much about them, don't want to spoil the surprise. Ok, I'll spoil one: I'll be making a video that is in a similar vein as Entry 73.
There is a Big Event coming up: Emerald City ComiCon is happening on March 13th & 14th. I will attending this function & I will be bringing my Video Camera with me to film stuff while I'm there. This will the first major outing with my camera. So, this event will most likely give me footage for a hand full of videos. I could just do one really long video but I doubt anyone would sit through the whole thing. I doubt I've even sit through that.
So, March should be a big month for Video here on the Living for Wednesday Blog.
On a sidenote: It's almost here!

This is Entry 129: Update!
This might be the most posts I've done in a row. Might not be, I haven't really kept track.
This post is to tell you about what is upcoming here.
- Tomorrow, I will be attending a small Comic Book Convention (Comic Book Swap Meets as I like to call them). I will bringing my camera & be filming a bit there so look for that video sometime in early to mid February.
- The third & last part of "Comic Book Backlog" will be posted sometime in Early February also.
- Also in February: I might start up that "really super cool & awesome thing" I've mentioned in past posts. With the videos I've been doing you've already sort of seen glimpses of what that thing is but the not the full awesomeness of it.
- Another things I've been thinking about is commenting on my Commentors. After recently finding out that people are actually commenting on my old posts I've gone back to see what people have said. Yes, there is a bit of junk mail but there are some odd comments there & I want to say something about. I've also found out who my follower & where they are from surprised me. Look for that post next week.

This is Entry 115: Movies!
So, I've always been a fan of Alternate Universes & DC is putting out a Movie featuring one of their best alternate worlds! It's the Justice League vs. The Crime Syndicate!
Info on the Movie which I got from Comicvine who got their info from IGN (which the video clip above comes from): DC's next animated feature is Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths. It's due out in Spring 2010 & is an original story from Dwayne McDuffie pulling from DC's past 'Crisis' stories. Bruce Timm is the executive producer. In the movie a “good” Lex Luthor arrives from an alternate universe to recruit the Justice League to help save his Earth from the Crime Syndicate, a gang of villainous characters with virtually identical super powers to the Justice League. What ensues is the ultimate battle of good versus evil in a war that threatens both planets and, through a diabolical plan launched by Owlman, puts the balance of all existence in peril.
The voice cast is led by Mark Harmon (NCIS) as Superman, James Woods as Owlman, Chris Noth (Sex And The City, Law & Order) as Lex Luthor, William Baldwin as Batman (Dirty Sexy Money, Backdraft) and Gina Torres (Serenity, Firefly) as Super Woman and Bruce Davison (X-Men) as the President.

This is Entry 114: Renaming of the Blog!
Ok, the massive Comic Book review(s) are forth coming. I just haven't gotten around to it. But every Wednesday, I buy more Comics which means the the stack(s) grow higher & higher.
But this post isn't about that. I recently thought about rebranding MyBlog to another name. One less hokey & one more in keeping with the nature of this here Blog. The name I've been thinking about is:
Living for Wednesday!
Since it seems like that's all I'm really living for. :) :( It's kind of sad but it's kind of the way it. I spend of my my time thinking about the stuff. My bedroom is pretty much a messy shrine to it. Also, more then half of the posts here are about them.
In other news: I've been giving some serious thought doing some Videos. I tested it out (see Entry 92 for that). But that was just a test. Only a test. I had sort of abandoned the idea (which was mentioned in Entry 95) but I've had a renewed interest in the idea. I've also given some idea into purchasing a video camera. I don't really know what camera to get & a few other things. But those are things for me to think about & not to bore you all with. I have a few ideas for the videos & some really cool.

This is Entry 95: The Future of Videos!
This post is to update you all about the status of further videos posted to this here blog o' mine. Well, they probably won't happen anytime soon. For a couple of reason. Two actually:
1. Time. For all the great ideas I've had over the last few weeks for video they would all take up a big bunch of time that I don't know if I have. Also with the videos It's just not making them, it's also the editing them. Yeah, I know. But hear me out: with my text reviews: I type them out, lose an hour (or 3) & they are done. With the Videos to make them sound good I'd have to write of a script, plan out what effects I would want to use, which images to use, scan those into my computer, maybe make a few alterations to those. Then I'd record myself. After that then add in pictures, text stuff & maybe some more audio (music, voice overs, etc.) & I've lost a whole day (or more).
2. Equipment. I don't have any beyond what is built into the computer I use. In fact I'm using it right now. :) Which works as evidence by the video a few posts down the blog. But It's very limited in it's scope: there is no zoom beyond me getting closer or moving away. The screen is small I can move around all that much. Also, I can't take it anywhere. The computer is just to darn bulky & needs to be plugged in to work so anywhere away from a power source is out of the question.
This means I'll be returning to my text reviews for the time being. Now this doesn't mean I've given up the idea doing videos. The one I posted was a test to basically see if I could make one & I did! Now comes the part where I try to see if I can make one good! Good as in is not crap, flows smoothly from thing to another, I don't look or sound bad. Basically looks half way decent. This will require some research. Also, some trail & error. I made 5 or so test videos before I made one I posted. So... this means that during the next year (MyBlog started in August so that demarks the the years for the blog) I'll probably put a video or two. Hopefully they won't be crap. :) I have also given some passing thought to actually buying a video camera which would require some money (that I'm saving for another big thing) but mostly if I got one some trail & error of me figuring out how the darn thing works. :)
Also, we are 6 from Entry 100! I'll probably make it some time later this month. Look for it!

1. Time. For all the great ideas I've had over the last few weeks for video they would all take up a big bunch of time that I don't know if I have. Also with the videos It's just not making them, it's also the editing them. Yeah, I know. But hear me out: with my text reviews: I type them out, lose an hour (or 3) & they are done. With the Videos to make them sound good I'd have to write of a script, plan out what effects I would want to use, which images to use, scan those into my computer, maybe make a few alterations to those. This is Entry 90: Update!
Happy Memorial Day everybody!
So, this post will just be an update posting. I'll have another posting today that will be a scatter shot, condensed version of my Comic Book reviews. I'm going to get this out of the way today so I can get back to have longer reviews. Less comics to go over = longer reviews. I know it's weird how that happens. :) Additionally, I've thought about changing how I do my reviews a bit. I'm thinking about posting a review posting. Early in the week (like on Monday) I'll post what I'm planning on picking up that week & then hopefully later that week I'll have a review of those books. I want to get back into doing regular reviews so I don't get as much a backlog.
Also, I've had thought of going all hi-tech on my blog. I'm not sure what that might entail but I've got an idea or two so if I get around to doing some test we me see or hear what happens.
UPDATE: Just one post down I posted a video review of the awesomely bad comic Warrior #1. After further research I found that this was a collaboration between "The Spoony Experiment" & "Atop the Fourth Wall" who are both part of something called "The Awesome Channel". So, I found out that atfw has a blog, click here to go to it & see reviews of bad comics can be found there. (He has also had reviewed Super Pro #1 & a comic I want to find US-1).
Another thing I'll bring up is that we are almost at Entry 100 & I have some plans for such a posting. I plan on finally make good on a few promises that I've made over the course this here blog. I'm hoping it will be awesome but mostly will only be kind of awesome.
